At least Chevrolet/GMC sells a diesel in their trucks...

If your referring to the already recalled Canyon/Colorado, then they are not available yet. This is a Silverado, though. Plus, Nissan is getting a Cummins for their Titan and Frontier, the Ranger has been spotted testing in the U.S. which has a diesel, and Toyota have confirmed the Tundra is getting a Cummins and I would almost bet on the next gen Taco getting some sort of diesel.

I'm aware of what truck this is... would still take a Chevrolet with a Duramax then a Toyota with a Cummins..

With their recent track record, I don't see how anybody in their right mind could buy a new GM product. They've lied to the media, they've lied to the government, and worst of all they have lied to their customers. Their quality has still not improved and it show. Plus, the Cummins and Powerstroke both have a better track record.

Because in the 10 years of having a Duramax without a single problem would allow me to buy one. Just because they have had issues isn't gonna stop me from liking Chevrolet and GM. Like they're the ONLY company in the history of civilization to lie... I'm done.

Here's the thing, sure corporations lie all the time, but GM has basically made a mockery of themselves from covering up not spending 10 cents on a part that would have saved many of the lives that started the whole fiasco to saying that their quality has changed before another 20 million cars are recalled. Even cars that have been on sale for less than a month have been recalled. Other companies haven't done that, except one... Oh wait, that was GM in the late 70's who decided paying for wrongful death suits was cheaper than recalling the car.
